Responsibilities
Web Application Designs and Architectures
Understanding of Logical and Physical Data Models
Java Application Server, JSP
Understanding of Business Intelligence applications (eg. Microstrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, etc.)
Portal experience
HTML, CSS, XML
Understanding of OLAP
Experience in Teradata RDBMS
Experience in Metadata Schema Development (Microstrategy tool exp. preferred)
Required Skills :
3 or more years of experience in MicroStrategy (Architect, Developer and Administration)
Recent experience and clear responsibilities in a Solution Architect capacity
1 or more years of experience in customizing MicroStrategy using MicroStrategy SDK
End to end (evaluation, procurement to roll out) implementation of MicroStrategy for at least one customer
Familiarity with all the components of MicroStrategy suite
5 or more years of experience with Java and Java EE including web frameworks like Struts
Working experience in Eclipse, configuration management tools like Harvest, CVS and SVN
Working experience in Teradata, Oracle including performance tuning and debugging performance bottlenecks
Must have delivered 3 or more critical project in a lead capacity
5 or more years of experience in leading a team of at least 8 developers
Understanding of various estimation models and must have participated in estimation of at least 5 projects
5 or more years of experience in on-site / offshore delivery model in a lead and coordinator capacity
MicroStrategy / Java training and certifications are beneficial
