Job Detail:
Under the general supervision and direction of the Deputy Country Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for the emergency room or the strategic direction of UNDP activities in Pakistan Early Recovery Program as the program design through implementation, coordination and overall project management principles and financial recovery program implemented by UNDP in Pakistan. The incumbent will provide technical leadership in implementing the program, in coordination with the government, UN agencies, donors and other partners to ensure the program is implemented will contribute to the overall national strategy
Interested candidates must have a master's degree in economic and social development, social sciences or relevant field with minimum 10 years relevant work experience, with emphasis on program management, restoration of the community, strengthening capacities and livelihood activities in early recovery / a Crisis. Experience with national and international organizations, especially UN agencies, emergency response and transitional recovery activities will be preferred.
