Sightsavers is looking for a Country Director who will be able to give dynamic leadership to a well rounded team to take forward the years of achievement

Principal Accountabilities:

• Reporting to the South Asia Programme Director, the incumbent will be working with partners within the existing policy frameworks, to strategically lead the country team to develop andmanage high quality, cost-effective programmes to achieve the expected outcomes and impact of the Sighsavers’ strategic plans and national development goals.
• To represent Sightsavers in country and overseas and network with range of stakeholders in order to promote and help achieve Sightsavers’ vision.

Job Specifications:

• Significant experience of working at management level in the development sector in Pakistan is essential.
• An impressive track record in strategic leadership representation and programme management.
• An in-depth understanding of programme design and development skills in programme policy development and project management are vital.
• Skills in people management, funding & financial management are essential together with proven ability of planning and delivery & global team working.
