Inform the Senior Engineers, the design engineer is responsible for working within a multi-functional team in launching the development, testing and manufacture of new product developments. This person is energetic, motivated and results oriented. Design engineers are responsible for:
- Work as part of multi-functional and complete proof of concept stage once stable manufacturing state has been reached
- Equity research, design and testing of the product or subsystem product development using computer-aided design and analysis tools
- Development:
- The drawings of 3D models that fit the company
- Good materials for product design
- Work with the supply of raw materials from suppliers to engineering prototypes capable of
- Assist in the configuration information of a technical product writers to create a user
- Work as a resource for the production of goods once the product was released to manufacturing
Title:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Technology Mechanical or Electrical Engineer / Electronics (or equivalent) Technologist
- Experience with design tools such as CAD (Solid Edge), FEA (Ansys), Electronic Systems Design Software, etc.
- Mastery of MS Office tools
- Experience with design teams to multi-functional is an asset
- Experience in hydraulic design is an asset
Farm background an asset -
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
